“Doing All We CAN”: Our November Food Drive

Polka Dot Invitations is excited to announce its first ever company-wide food drive campaign entitled Doing All We Can, benefitting our local Tarrant County food bank.

For the month of November, company employees are collaborating with Polka Dot Invitations’s parent company Polka Dot Invitations to collect donated canned goods in an effort to fight hunger in the 13 north central Texas counties served by the Tarrant Area Food Bank.

On average each month, the Tarrant Area Food Bank distributes groceries to more than 35,000 households and serves 500,000 meals and snacks.

But we wanted to do more to contribute to this astonishing organization, so in addition to the company-wide food drive, Polka Dot Invitations is also hosting a Thankful Thursday campaign on each Thursday in November.

Are you eager to join us in our fight against hunger? For every order placed on each of the four Thankful Thursdays in November, Polka Dot Invitations will donate $1.00 to the Tarrant Area Food Bank. And for every $1.00 donated, the food bank is able to distribute enough food for four meals.

The first Thankful Thursday begins November 4, 2010.
