For those who haven’t had the pleasure of reading our previous post about our Printable Monthly Calendars 2018, then that’s a good place to start. And for those who are ready for their Free Printable Calendar for February 2018, the time has come! February is busy time for many: winter rears her ugly, and oftentimes beautiful, head. Valentine’s Day unleashes love and gratitude in abundance. Mardi Gras is in full swing for those out there looking to celebrate and have some fun. The biggest annual football event, The Super Bowl, takes over for a Sunday. Plus, February is the shortest of the year so you have less time to get the things accomplished for the month than you normally would. If there is any particular month that we would need a calendar to get organized, it would be the month of February. In case you missed it with our free January calendar, we like to mix things up a little by adding both nationally recognized holidays and also fun, under-the-radar holidays as well. Sometimes, you just need a good old fashioned reason to celebrate and let loose and here are some of our favorite in February that you can look forward to:

February 1 – Work Naked Day: While this day can probably only be celebrated for those working from the comforts of their own homes, it is still one to be enjoyed. Ditch those pajamas, take a plan-from-home day and sidle up to your computer in your birthday suit for a holiday like no other. Just make sure you don’t have any Skype conference calls or anything…

February 9 – National Pizza Day: While some of us believe that National Pizza Day should occur once a month, preferably on Fridays of each week, there is only one day designated to this delicious holiday. Sigh. Yet, the good news is, National Pizza Day falls on a Friday this year and can be a perfect excuse to throw an epically delicious pizza party. Here are a few invitations to get inspired.

February 7 – Send a Card to a Friend Day: Do you have a friend that is always there for you, always willing to help or lend an ear and you don’t know how to repay them? Use this holiday to send them a card of gratitude. It doesn’t need to be intricate or over-the-top, just a simple card that lets them know you are grateful that they are in your life. Cue the Golden Girls theme song. Here are a few card options that can help:

February 22 – National Margarita Day:

Do you want an excuse to drink delicious margaritas on a Thursday and not feel guilty? Great, because February 22 is National Margarita Day, which means the Tequila Gods have spoken. Gather your closest girlfriends and make for a fun night in, sipping on some savory sweet cocktails and indulging in a little “us” time. Want to make it a more organized gathering? Also, do you think it’s a coincidence that National Margarita Day and Tortilla Chip Day are only two days apart? I think not. Extend the invite to include both holidays and then you have one epic Mexican fiesta going on.

February 17 – Random Act of Kindness Day:

This is a holiday worth celebrating every single day. However, if you need more of a reason to be kind to a stranger, then February 17th is it. Pay for someone’s coffee, compliment a co-worker, buy someone lunch who is in need. Random acts of kindness can go a long way for both the one receiving and the one giving.
